Gearóidín Bhreathnach (Irish pronunciation: [ˈɟaɾadʲin ˈβrahnˠah]; English: /ɡɑˈrɒdʒiːn ˈbrɑːnɑː/ gar-roj-een-brah-nah) is an Irish singer from Gweedore, Co Donegal.[1] She is renowned as a sean-nós singer and is the recipient of the esteemed Oireachtas na Gaeilge award.
Gearóidín is also an accomplished seanchaí (or sennachie, pronounced /ˈʃɑːnəxɪ/ or /ˈsɛnəxɪ/), a traditional Irish story teller.
